In March 2025, Sotik Tea Company (STC) achieved official gazettement of our land under blueberry cultivation as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). This recognition by the Government of Kenya marks a new chapter in our journey of sustainable agricultural innovation and rural development.
This new status will see us to enhance our operational capacity for anticipated growth, invest in vital production and post-harvest infrastructure, and generate new employment opportunities within our community, all while upholding our commitment to our people and the planet.
